About Us

The owners of Solid Rock Roofing, Inc. are a father and daughter team.

Tracy Hanning, Founder and Chairman
After a full career as an Industrial Arts teacher, Tracy founded Solid Rock Roofing in 1991. He holds degrees from Ohio University and Wright State University. He is a member at Far Hills Community Church and has been active in Habitat for Humanity, Katrina relief work in Mississippi as well as local missions home repair projects in the Dayton area.

Cheryl Hanning Smith, President
After a career in the health care field, Cheryl joined her father as the President for Solid Rock Roofing. She believes that customer service is important and achieves this by good communication and prompt follow-up. She attended Sinclair Community College and Wright State University and holds a degree in Business Administration.
